What is Citavion?
Citavion is an Answer Engine Optimization agency built exclusively for law firms. We get firms cited by AI answer engines, including ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, and Google AI Overviews, the sources clients now trust before they ever click.
Why we exist
For twenty years, being found meant ranking on Google. That era is closing.
Today, more than four in ten people begin their search for an attorney by asking an AI assistant. They do not scroll ten blue links and compare. They ask a question, receive an answer that names two or three firms, and choose from that shortlist. If a firm is not in the answer, it was never in the running.
Most law firms have not noticed yet. They are still paying for SEO that wins a ranking nobody scrolls to, publishing content built for crawlers instead of citations, and watching their phones get quieter without knowing why. Meanwhile a handful of firms, often not the biggest ones, are quietly becoming the sources the machines trust.
We started Citavion to put more firms in that second group. Not with tricks, but with the unglamorous discipline of being genuinely citable: clear answers, verifiable expertise, structured data, and content that stays current with the law.
The Name
A citation is the same idea in two worlds. In law, it is how an authority is named, as in Roe v. Wade, 410 U.S. 113. In AI, it is the source an answer engine credits when it responds. Both mean the same thing: being recognized as the authority. That is the whole job. That is Citavion.

So I built Citavion to do one thing exceptionally well: make law firms the source AI cites. I work with a small number of firms at a time, hands-on, because this work rewards depth over volume.
